Overview
The Pakistan Army has recently announced the registration dates for the PMA Long Course 152 for 2nd Lieutenants in 2023. The registration process will be carried out online through the official website of the Pakistan Army, which is www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. The opportunity is open for interested male candidates from all over Pakistan who wish to apply for Regular Commission in the Pakistan Army. How to Register Online for Pakistan Army PMA Long Course 152 – 2023?
To Join Pakistan Army as Regular Commissioned Officer through PMA Long Course 152, Interested candidates should register online at the official website of the Pakistan Army https://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/
- The date and time of the test shall be intimated on the individual’s email address. The date once given will not be changed.
- Candidates will also bring along documents (mentioned in the advertisement) and will pay the prospectus fee on the day of the test.
- Candidates must attain working knowledge of computers.
The selection procedure for Pakistan Army PMA Long Course 152 comprises several stages. Firstly, candidates will have to go through preliminary tests, which include written, intelligence, and personality tests. The exam slip with the exact date of the exam will be available on the official website of Pakistan Army.
After passing the preliminary tests, candidates will have to undergo physical tests, including a 1.6 km run within 8 minutes, three pull-ups in 2 minutes, 15 push-ups in 2 minutes, 20 crunches in 2 minutes, and ditch crossing of 7’4″ × 7’4″ and 4′ deep.
Candidates who pass the physical tests will then undergo an initial medical test at the Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs). The AS&RCs will fill in all required entries, including physical tests and interview marks in the module. The Personal Administration Directorate will nominate candidates for the Inter Services Selection Board (ISB) based on merit.
Candidates recommended by the ISB will undergo a detailed medical examination at nearby Combined Military Hospitals (CMH). The final selection of candidates will be made at the General Headquarters based on their performance throughout the selection procedure.
Candidates who wish to apply for PMA Long Course 152 must deposit the required documents at the time of registration at the Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs). The documents required include original certificates and detailed mark sheets of Matric/FSc/Equivalent certificate, attested photocopies of domicile/Family Registration Certificate/NADRA verification certificate, Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or Form “B” along with Father’s CNIC, and three colored photos duly attested by Principal (one front and two back).
After selection, candidates will undergo two years of training at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA). It is important to note that the age limit will be calculated as of November 1, 2023, and only male candidates are eligible to apply. The online registration for PMA Long Course 152 will commence from April 10, 2023, to May 14, 2023, through the official website of the Pakistan Army, i.e., www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk.
