Eligibility Criteria to Join Pakistan Navy through Short Service Commission 2023-B

To join the Pakistan Navy through Short Service Commission (SSC) 2023-B, you need to meet certain eligibility criteria. Here are the general requirements:

  1. Nationality: You must be a citizen of Pakistan.
  2. Gender: Both male and female candidates can apply.

    • Special Branch (IT): Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related fields from HEC-recognized universities with a minimum of 60% marks.
    • Naval Law Branch: Candidates must have completed LLB/LLM from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks.
  6. Height:
    • Male candidates: 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm)
    • Female candidates: 5 feet (152.4 cm)
  7. Weight: As per the Body Mass Index (BMI) standards of the Pakistan Navy.
  8. Vision: Candidates should have an unaided 6/6 vision in the better eye and 6/9 in the weaker eye. Glasses/Contact lenses are not allowed.
  9. Physical Fitness: Candidates must meet the required physical fitness standards set by the Pakistan Navy.
