PAF Commissioned Officer Eligibility Criteria 2023:

To become a part of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) as a Commissioned Officer, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria. Detailed information about education, age, and height requirements is provided below for each post. Please note that the age limit for all posts is 16 to 22 years, and 18 to 30 years (as of 20th April 2024). The height requirement is 5 feet 4 inches for males and 4 feet 10 inches for females.

How to Join PAF as a Commissioned Officer:

  1. Interested candidates can complete the online registration process by visiting the official Pakistan Air Force (PAF) website at www.joinpaf.gov.pk.
  2. Candidates need to undergo an initial medical examination and interview at the I&S Centre.
  3. Only shortlisted candidates will be selected for the Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB).
  4. Tests and interviews will be conducted by ISSB at various locations: Kohat, Gujranwala, Malir, and Quetta.
  5. Final medical examination will take place at the Central Medical Board (CMB), Lahore.
  6. General Duty (Pilot) candidates will undergo the Flying Aptitude Test (FAT).
  7. AHQ Special Selection Board will conduct interviews for CSC candidates.
  8. The final selection will be made by Air Headquarters based on merit.
